Start a program of study, including the Advanced Scuba Diver and Master Scuba Diver programs, to give you broad, up-to-date information on all aspects of diving.

Maintain Physical Fitness
Diving can be strenuous, and emergencies may occur that require extra effort.

Develop Speaking Ability
An ability to speak effectively and comfortably in front of an audience is crucial to effective learning.

Continually Evaluate Yourself
Proper preparation and continual re-evaluation is critical to the successful completion of a NAUI Leadership course. Request the opportunity to demonstrate your competence and receive feedback for improvement from a NAUI Instructor.
