Underwater Ecology - Many divers are seeking activities that are not only enjoyable, but also have beneficial ecological purpose. As an amateur underwater ecologist, such purpose can be found in the knowledge that your observations are aiding marine scientists in their pursuit of greater understanding. This program will introduce you to scientific methods of observation with emphasis on coral reef and kelp forest ecology.
Wreck Diving - The most popular of all diving specialties, wreck diving is potentially dangerous. However, with proper training it can be enjoyed by both the novice and the advanced diver. You'll be introduced to the various types of wreck diving available, the inherent risks of each type, and the equipment and training required to enjoy wreck diving with minimal risk.
Dry Suit Diving - Temperate and cold water environments present many exciting opportunities as well as additional risks, for the scuba diver. Proper protection for cold water diving, involving the use of a dry suit, increases the enjoyment of the dive while reducing the risks of unnecessary exposure. This program will introduce you to the unique aspects of diving in a dry suit and the skills necessary to maintain suit integrity and diver safety.
